Harmony and Gratitude

|
Since the earliest times, people have recognized spiritual value and purpose in Nature and all its vastness.
The mountains that surround our communities; the sun that provides life-giving light; the earth that nurtures and provides bounteous fruit; and the sky that gives us water essential for life - all these things exist beyond our power and understanding, and people have long lived in a spirit of gratitude and awe towards them.
Many people believed that a spirit, or spirits, enveloped all we knew, including the mountains, rivers, plants, animals and even homes, and they believed this to be a benign and protecting force.
Mother Nature is the source of all life and it is also our protection. We must not pollute the sea, mountains, forests and rivers, nor kill more animals than we need. Nature worship, which meant wishing for tomorrow's blessings, demonstrating thanks and praying to heaven, has always been a natural activity for people.
Meanwhile, people have utilized the fragrances and medicinal effects of herbs to treat ailments since before Christ.
They have also used plant dyes, charcaol and red soil, etc. as makeup for keeping way evil spirits and thoughts.
For centuries, people lived in harmony with nature while borrowing and drawing on its power.
Today, however, we tend to think that nature is only a tool we can utilize and control.
In our quest for greater industrial development and living convenience, we cut down forests and spew out exhaust gases, greenhouse gases and synthetic surface-active agents, etc. We are now destroying the natural world that previously supported us and existed in harmony with us.
If we can acquire even a small desire to worship nature in our daily lives, we believe this will help purify some of the ego and arrogance that lurks in our minds.
Margaret Josefin has acquired the global environmental standard ISO 14001 and is committed to making products that fully utilize the extracts and components of natural flora and fauna.
Sensing these benefits that nature gives us, we hope to put that gratitude into our products and deliver it to as many people as possible.
