Margaret Josefin was born out of the desire to help as many children suffering from skin problems and allergies as possible.
Our corporate philosophy is "providing beauty and safety and creating rich living environments." We started out as a mail-order company, selling a number of additive-free baby items placing as little a burden on the skin as possible. Starting from scratch with little retail know-how or business contacts, every day was a process of trial and error. We started with just a few members, always on the verge of folding.
One day, we received a thank you letter from the mother of a small girl troubled by eczema . It described how the child's skin had become better from using our company's products.
This letter became a small source of joy and strength for our tiny group of company employees.
We were inspired with the desire to "have as many people as possible feel the same joy.
